But, as my obsession with anime and manga grew, so did my vision. What began as a hobby evolved into a mission to bring iconic art to life trough custom footwear.

I founded Otaku Sole to take things further. For us, its about more than just shoes. its about wearable art and creating a tribute to the stories we love.

FAQ
Is the paint durable?
Yes! Our Customs are hand painted with quality materials. Made to last with wipe clean, scratch resistant designs. However , damage can be caused with misuse , so we advise you to take good care of them!
Do we only do anime designs?
No! We create your vision. From patterns to calligraphy, favourite game character or movie characters. Animal designs and more. If we can create it , we do it!
How long do custom orders take to make?
That all depends on the design. Every pair is hand-painted and made to order, so they can typically take around 2-3 weeks to complete from the moment we finalise your design. This ensures the highest quality finish and allows time for proper curing/sealing. If you do need them for a specific date or even , please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate!
Can I provide my own shoes?
For hygiene and insurance reasons, we don’t currently accept shoes through the post. However, we are happy to discuss using your brand-new shoes if we are meeting in person or at a convention!
How do I clean them?
As they are hand-painted, to keep them looking fresh, simply wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid washing machine and harsh scrubbing to keep designs looking fresh for years.
